Description: The mode of the port LED can be either link/activity (link for 3 seconds then activity thereafter) or link-only.
What is hpSwitchSystemPortLEDMode?
This read-write enumeration selects whether port LEDs show link-activity (link state for the first 3 seconds after a change, then blink for activity) or link-only mode. Admins choose this based on whether they want the LEDs to visually indicate ongoing traffic or just static link status. For example, a data-center admin who wants a quick visual scan of which ports are actively passing traffic would leave the default link-activity mode enabled.
