What is hpSwitchPortType?
This read-only enumerated HpSwitchPortType value reports what kind of physical port a given row represents (e.g. Ethernet, FDDI, VG). Several other objects in this table, like hpSwitchPortEtherMode or hpSwitchPortVgMode, are only meaningful depending on this value. For example, an admin scripting a bulk duplex change would first check hpSwitchPortType to skip over non-Ethernet ports where hpSwitchPortEtherMode wouldn't apply.
