Description: This variable is valid only if a unicast or multicast filter was defined. It will be ignored otherwise.
What is hpSwitchFilterMacAddr?
This read-write MacAddress object specifies the MAC address a filter applies to, and is only valid when the filter is of type unicast or multicast; it's ignored otherwise. Admins set it to block or restrict traffic to/from a specific device or multicast group. For example, an admin blocking a rogue device's traffic would create a unicast filter and set hpSwitchFilterMacAddr to that device's MAC address.
