What is hpSwitchAutoReboot?
This read-write enumeration controls how the switch behaves after a crash: yes(1) reboots automatically, no(2) halts and waits for a power cycle, and useHw(3) (the default) defers to a physical jumper setting. Admins tune it to decide whether an unattended remote switch should try to self-recover from a firmware fault or stay down for inspection. For example, a switch in a remote closet with no on-site staff would typically be set to yes(1) so it recovers on its own after a crash.
