copySrcFileName

Module: CONFIG-COPY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CONFIG-COPY-MIB::copySrcFileName

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-create

Description: The source file name (including the path, if applicable) of the file. This object must be created when either the copySourceFileType or copyDestFileType has the value networkFile or localFile.

What is copySrcFileName?

This read-create string (1-80 characters) gives the source file name, including path if needed, and must be set whenever the source is a networkFile or localFile. It tells the copy operation exactly which file on the remote server or local filesystem to read from. For example, an admin restoring a specific saved configuration would set copySrcFileName to the exact backup filename on the TFTP server.
