copyDstFileName

Module: CONFIG-COPY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CONFIG-COPY-MIB::copyDstFileName

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-create

Description: The destination file name (including the path, if applicable) of the file. This object must be created when either the copySourceFileType or copyDestFileType has the value networkFile or localFile.

What is copyDstFileName?

This read-create string (1-80 characters) gives the destination file name, including path if needed, and must be set whenever the destination is a networkFile or localFile. It tells the copy operation exactly what to name the file it writes on the remote server or local filesystem. For example, an admin archiving today's config would set copyDstFileName to something like 'switch1-2026-08-19.cfg' on the backup server.
