What is stpRootInformationMaxAge?
This read-only value reports the Max Age timer as advertised by the elected root bridge, which the whole spanning tree adopts even if this switch's own configured value differs. An admin compares it to the locally configured stpMaxAge to understand which value is actually governing the tree's behavior. For example, if this reports 20 seconds while stpMaxAge is configured locally to 30, the admin knows the root bridge's shorter value is what the whole tree is actually using.
