What is pingFailureIP?
This read-write value sets the target IP address the switch actively pings as part of a fault-relay condition, tripping the relay if that address becomes unreachable. An admin points this at a critical upstream device whose reachability indicates broader network health. For example, setting this to a remote gateway's IP address causes the relay to trip if that route becomes unreachable, signaling a possible WAN or upstream outage well before users start reporting problems.
