What is mstpPerInstCfgInstancePriority?
This read-write value, from 0 to 61440 in steps of 4096, sets this switch's bridge priority within a specific MST instance's root election, where the lowest value wins and becomes that instance's root. An admin lowers this value on the switch intended to be the preferred root for the VLANs mapped to a given instance. For example, setting instance 1's priority to 4096 on the switch nearest the server farm makes it the preferred root specifically for the VLANs assigned to instance 1, independent of which switch is root for other instances.
