What is macAddressAddr?
This read-write field holds the MAC address value for a row in the device's MAC address table, identifying which hardware address the entry describes. It's how an admin both reads which MAC a table row refers to and specifies the MAC when creating a new static entry. For example, to pin a server's MAC to a specific port, an admin sets macAddressAddr to that server's MAC while creating the row.
