This read-write value sets the interval, in seconds, between automatic periodic reauthentications on a port, working together with dot1xPortReauthentication. An admin shortens this period on ports needing tighter security so access is re-validated more frequently. For example, setting this to 3600 forces a device on a high-security port to reauthenticate every hour rather than only once at initial connection.
