What is dot1xPortConfigSetDefault?
This read-write trigger, when written as apply(1), resets a port's entire 802.1x configuration back to its factory default settings. An admin uses this to quickly undo an accumulation of 802.1x tuning changes on a single port without having to reconfigure every individual timer and mode by hand. For example, writing apply(1) here after a port's 802.1x timers were misconfigured during troubleshooting restores that port's settings to defaults without touching the 802.1x configuration on any other port.
