An admin uses this to immediately test whether a recently revoked credential is actually being enforced, without waiting for a scheduled reauthentication. For example, an admin writes apply(1) to this OID right after disabling a departing contractor's RADIUS account, to confirm their laptop is immediately kicked off the network rather than staying connected until its next scheduled reauthentication.
