What is dot1qTunnelPortMode?
This read-write setting configures a port's role in 802.1Q VLAN tunneling (QinQ): normal (untunneled), access (adds an outer tag to customer traffic), uplink (passes already double-tagged frames), or uplink-add-pvid (uplink behavior that also adds a port VLAN ID). An admin pairs an access-mode customer-facing port with an uplink-mode provider-facing port to build the tunnel. For example, setting a customer-facing port to access(2) and the corresponding provider-facing port to uplink(3) lets a customer's own VLAN tags pass through the provider network completely untouched, wrapped inside the provider's own outer tag.
