What is dhcpRelayAgentCircuitIdType?
This read-write setting selects the format, default, string, or hexadecimal, the relay agent uses when generating the Circuit-ID field it inserts into forwarded DHCP requests. Choosing the correct type ensures the relay-agent-generated Circuit-ID matches the format the upstream DHCP server expects to parse. For example, an admin whose DHCP server logic expects hexadecimal-encoded port identifiers would set this to hexadecimal so the relay agent's inserted values parse correctly.
