What is vmsDecnetUpdateInterval?
This read-write setting, in minutes, controls how often the DECnet statistics group is recalculated, with 0 disabling collection. Lowering this interval lets an admin get near-real-time visibility into DECnet traffic counters when diagnosing a suspected network routing or congestion issue. For example, an admin troubleshooting intermittent DECnet packet loss might drop this to 1 minute temporarily to watch the congestion-loss counter in this same statistics group update quickly.
