What is vmsDecnetArriveTransPkt?
This counter counts DECnet packets that arrive at this node purely to be routed onward to another node, rather than being consumed locally. A high transit count indicates this VMS system is acting as an intermediate router in the DECnet topology, adding routing load beyond its own application traffic. For example, if this node sits between two DECnet areas, packets exchanged between nodes on either side will register here as they pass through.
