A rising outgoing count shows this node's applications are reaching across the cluster interconnect for shared resources, adding cross-node communication overhead compared to purely local locking. For example, a process on this node accessing a cluster-wide file whose lock resource is mastered on another member would generate an outgoing request counted here.
