sDskTrapPercent
Module: COMTEK-VMS-NM-SYSMGR-MIB
OID (symbolic): COMTEK-VMS-NM-SYSMGR-MIB::sDskTrapPercent
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.597.4.3.1.3.3.1.15
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The percentage of disk space utilization at which excessive disk utilization (sDskFull) traps begin to be sent for this disk. A value of 0 indicates that either a disk block free count is being used for this disk (see sDskTrapBlocks), or the system default disk use limit (identified by sCfgDskLimit), or the system default disk minimum free block limit (identified by sCfgDskMinFreeBlks) for the system is being used. Disks which have a specific usage limit set are contained in the critical disk file. See sCfgCritDsk for more information about this file.
What is sDskTrapPercent?
This read-only integer, ranging 0 to 100, reports the disk-utilization percentage threshold above which excessive disk utilization (sDskFull) traps begin firing for this disk; a value of 0 means either a block-count threshold (sDskTrapBlocks) or a system default limit is used instead. An administrator checks it to know at what fill level a specific disk will start generating capacity alerts. For example, if a critical disk shows sDskTrapPercent set to 95, the admin knows alerts won't fire until it's nearly full, and may lower the threshold for earlier warning.
