Description: The number of shadow set members that make up this virtual unit. If this number is zero, then this is not a virtual disk. This number indicates the number of shadow set entries that will be found in the (sShdTbl) for this disk.
What is sDskShdCount?
This read-only counter reports the number of shadow-set members making up a virtual disk unit; a value of zero means the disk is not a shadow-set virtual disk at all. An administrator checks it to know whether a given disk is a mirrored shadow set and, if so, how many physical members back it, corresponding to entries in the shadow-set table (sShdTbl). For example, sDskShdCount showing 2 tells the admin this virtual disk is a two-member shadow set and to check the corresponding sShdTbl rows for member health.
