threadKill
Module: COMPEX-IN3000
OID (symbolic): COMPEX-IN3000::threadKill
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.426.1.10.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter
Access: read-only
Description: The number of threads that have been killed.
What is threadKill?
This counter tallies the total number of internal threads that have been terminated (killed) by the firmware since boot. An admin uses a rising trend here, especially if it correlates with threadCreateFail or threadTableFull, to understand whether the firmware is churning through threads unusually quickly. A sudden burst of threadKill events coinciding with a feature malfunction would suggest that feature's worker threads are crashing or being forcibly cleaned up.
