Description: The port number of this port. Note that the ports are numbered 1 to 7. For the TP3000 the twisted pair ports are numbered 1 to 6 and the remaining ethernet port (either 10base2 or AUI) is port 7.
What is pspPortIndex?
This read-only integer identifies the specific physical port, numbered 1 through 7, that the accompanying packet-type counters in this table row describe. An admin needs it alongside pspGroupIndex to know exactly which jack a spike in unicast, multicast, or broadcast traffic is coming from. Seeing pspPortIndex 7 paired with a high pspBroadcastOk value would tell an admin the 10base2 or AUI leg of that microhub, rather than a twisted-pair port, is the broadcast source.
