What is pspBroadcastErr?

This counter tallies broadcast packets received on this one port that contained errors, narrowing broadcast-frame corruption down to a single connection. An admin uses this to confirm whether a group-wide rise in broadcast errors traces back to one specific bad cable rather than a systemic issue. Seeing pspBroadcastErr elevated on only one port within an otherwise healthy group would let an admin focus repair effort on that single jack.
