What is psmPartitions?
This counter tallies how many times this specific port entered the partitioned state, where the hub electrically isolates it after too many consecutive collisions to protect the rest of the segment. A port with a high partition count is likely connected to a persistently faulty NIC or cable and repeatedly getting cut off from the network. An admin seeing psmPartitions climbing on port 6 would treat that as a strong signal to replace the cable or NIC on the device attached there.
