Description: The number of HMI PORT DISABLE requests sent.

What is hmiPortDisableReq?

This counter tallies the total number of HMI PORT DISABLE requests the IN3000 has sent, a specific HMI message type used to remotely disable a repeater port via the management protocol. A rising count that the admin did not initiate would be a red flag that an unauthorized or misconfigured management station is shutting down ports on the device. An admin seeing hmiPortDisableReq climb unexpectedly would immediately check which ports have actually been disabled as a result.
