Description: A unique value to the group. The groups are numbered from 1 to 4. The addresses set via the dip switches on the TP3000 and RP3000 are numbered 0 to 3. In order to calculate the group number add one (1) to the address set via the dip switches.
What is gsmGroupIndex?
This read-only integer identifies which of the IN3000's four hardware groups a row of the group summary table describes, numbered 1 through 4 by adding one to the microhub's physical DIP-switch address. An admin uses it to match summary fields like gsmName, gsmNumPorts, or gsmCollisions in the same row to the correct physical microhub card. If gsmGroupIndex reads 4, an admin knows that row summarizes the module whose dip switches are set to address 3.
