Module: COMPEX-IN3000

OID (symbolic): COMPEX-IN3000::callocCalls

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.426.1.8.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: Number of times calloc() has been called.

What is callocCalls?

This counter tallies how many times the firmware's calloc() function, which allocates and zero-initializes memory, has been called since boot. An admin uses it as one more data point when characterizing the device's overall memory allocation behavior during a suspected leak investigation. A callocCalls count that jumps sharply after enabling a particular feature would tell an admin that feature is responsible for the additional allocation activity.
