fourRFSystemID
Module: COMMON-4RF
OID (symbolic): COMMON-4RF::fourRFSystemID
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.14817.7.1.2.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: The terminal identifier, user defined.
What is fourRFSystemID?
This read-write string of up to 255 characters lets an administrator assign a custom, human-readable name to the 4RF radio terminal. Because 4RF radio links are often deployed in remote unmanned sites, giving each terminal a distinct identifier lets operators recognize which physical radio they are managing in a list of many. For example, an engineer might set fourRFSystemID to "Tower-12-North" so it's immediately clear which hilltop repeater is being configured.
