What is selfTest?
This read-only string of up to 30 characters reports the outcome of the COMETMS unit's internal self-test routine. An administrator checks this field to confirm the monitoring hardware itself is functioning correctly before trusting the alarm and channel data it reports. For example, selfTest might return "Passed" after a power-up diagnostic, or an error string if a sensor module failed the internal check.
