Description: When 'on', disables this terminal's transmission to the link. Note that disabling transmission sets off an alarm.
What is wvTransmitterMute?
This value, when set to 'on,' stops the terminal from transmitting onto the radio link entirely. Because muting the transmitter is treated as an alarm condition by the system, setting it triggers an alert elsewhere in the network management system. For example, a technician sets wvTransmitterMute to 'on' during safety maintenance on the antenna, which immediately raises an alarm for other operators to see.
