Description: Determines the no. of retries to be performed by the terminal upon TFTP failures. A value of 0 means to try forever until successful or deliberately stopped.
What is wvTftpNoOfRetries?
This read-write integer, from 0 to 30, sets how many times the terminal retries a TFTP transfer after a failure, with 0 meaning it keeps retrying indefinitely until success or manual stop. An administrator tunes this to balance resilience against a flaky network path with the risk of an unattended transfer looping forever. For example, setting wvTftpNoOfRetries to 5 on a link with occasional drop-outs lets a firmware push recover from transient failures without hanging indefinitely if the server becomes unreachable.
