This read-write BITS object selects which of the terminal's private, vendor-specific traps, such as ODU cable fault or IDU internal fault start and stop, are enabled to be sent. An admin uses this mask to control trap volume by only enabling the specific fault conditions they actually want their NMS notified about, rather than receiving every possible private trap. For example, enabling only the wlOduCableFaultStart and wlOduCableFaultStop bits means the terminal will alert on outdoor-unit cable faults but stay silent on other private fault conditions it is capable of reporting.
