Description: The receive signal value read on this terminal.

What is wvRxSignalLevel?

This read-only integer reports the current receive signal level, in dBm, measured at this terminal from the far-end transmitter. A NOC operator monitors this value as the primary real-time indicator of link quality, since a dropping RSL usually precedes error-rate increases. For example, watching wvRxSignalLevel steadily decline over several days on a given hop could be an early sign of antenna misalignment or foliage growth encroaching on the path.
