wvLinkESAlarmThresholdHigh

Module: CODAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): CODAN-MIB::wvLinkESAlarmThresholdHigh

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.23304.1.1.1.6.14

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Defines the high water mark above which the terminal enters the link Errored Seconds alarm state. If wvLinkxxxESs in a given wvLinkThresholdMeasurementInterval gets above this value a wvLinkESAlarm is set, to be canceled if the value gets below wvLinkESAlarmThresholdLow (see below). The value is expressed as a percentage x 100 of the elapsed time specified by wvLinkThresholdMeasurementInterval.

What is wvLinkESAlarmThresholdHigh?

This read-write integer, expressed as a percentage times 100 of the elapsed wvLinkThresholdMeasurementInterval, sets the high-water-mark proportion of Errored Seconds above which the terminal raises a link ES alarm. An administrator uses this to decide how much of the measurement window can contain errored seconds before it's considered alarm-worthy. For example, a value of 500 (representing 5%) means the alarm fires once errored seconds make up 5% or more of the measurement interval's elapsed time.
