Description: Terminal Link chosen bit rate. Enables reduced capacity work for a given installed plug-in (according to wvInstalledPlugInPartNo). All subsets of a given plug-in are allowed. Its default is the installed plug-in full capacity.
What is wvLinkCapacity?
This value sets the working data-rate capacity of the link, in E1 or E3 multiples, and can be a reduced subset of what the installed plug-in module physically supports. It lets an admin deliberately run a link below its hardware maximum capacity. For example, an admin sets wvLinkCapacity to fourE1 on a plug-in capable of sixteenE1, intentionally running the link at lower capacity than its hardware maximum.
