This read-write bitmask reports which configuration families, such as wvLinkSettings or wvInterfaces, have had a parameter changed since the agent last raised the corresponding bit, and it's up to the manager to clear those bits after noticing them. A monitoring station polls this object to detect that something in the terminal's configuration was modified, possibly by another operator or a local console, without having to re-read every setting. For example, seeing the wvLinkSettings bit set would prompt an operator to re-check the link IP configuration to see what changed since the last poll.
