Description: Initializes a configuration transfer process on the terminal from one of the Saved Configurations to the Active Configuration, according to wvActivateTerminalConfigurationTime (see below). The actual activated configuration is specified through the community in the request, as explained below on the wvCommunityTable Description. The value given with the object is not relevant and it's not checked.

What is wvActivateTerminalConfiguration?

Writing to this object schedules a transfer of one of the terminal's Saved Configurations into the live Active Configuration, at the time specified by wvActivateTerminalConfigurationTime, with the target saved configuration chosen by the SNMP community used. It is how a stored configuration is rolled into production rather than merely saved. For example, an admin uses this object with a community tied to a specific saved configuration slot to roll the terminal back to a previously known-good setup.
