What is cnt2IfInOctets?

This Counter32 tracks the total number of octets received on the interface, including framing characters. An administrator uses successive polls of this counter to calculate the actual inbound throughput on that specific slot's port over time. For example, taking two readings of cnt2IfInOctets five minutes apart and dividing by the elapsed time yields the interface's current inbound data rate.
