Description: The desired state of the interface. The testing(3) state indicates that no operational packets can be passed.
What is cnt2IfAdminStatus?
This read-write enumerated INTEGER sets the administratively desired state of the interface, including a testing mode in which no operational traffic is allowed to pass. An administrator uses it to take a specific interface out of service for maintenance or diagnostics without physically removing the card. For example, setting cnt2IfAdminStatus to testing(3) on the second interface of slot 3 blocks live traffic there while a loopback test is run.
