Description: The number of outgoing IPX packets discarded due to processing decision.
What is ipxSysOutDiscards?
This Counter tracks the number of outgoing IPX packets discarded due to a processing decision. An admin watches this as a catch-all indicator of outbound IPX packets being dropped for reasons beyond routing or filtering. For example, an operator seeing ipxSysOutDiscards rise without a corresponding rise in ipxSysOutFiltered or ipxSysOutNoRoutes would look for other causes such as queue overflow.
