What is ipxSysOutCompressDiscards?
This Counter tracks the number of outgoing IPX packets discarded due to compression errors. An admin watches this to detect problems compressing traffic before it's sent, such as a resource or configuration issue with header compression. For example, an operator seeing ipxSysOutCompressDiscards climb on a WAN link with compression enabled would investigate the compression configuration for that interface.
