What is ipxSysNETBIOSPackets?
This Counter tracks the number of NetBIOS packets seen, carried over IPX. An admin watches this to gauge how much NetBIOS-based traffic, such as legacy Windows file/print browsing, is traversing the IPX network. For example, an operator troubleshooting slow legacy file-share browsing would check ipxSysNETBIOSPackets to see how much NetBIOS broadcast traffic is present.
