What is ipxSysForwPackets?
This Counter tracks the number of IPX packets forwarded by the system, i.e., routed through rather than originated or terminated locally. An admin watches this to measure how much transit IPX traffic this router is handling. For example, an operator assessing a router's role in the IPX topology would check ipxSysForwPackets to confirm it's actively forwarding traffic between segments rather than sitting idle.
