Description: The period of time, in milliseconds, that it takes to transmit one byte of data, excluding protocol headers, to a destination on the other end of the circuit, if the circuit is free of other traffic.
What is ipxCircDelay?
This value reports, in milliseconds, how long it takes to transmit one byte of data across this circuit to the far end when the circuit is otherwise idle. It is a raw latency measure used by IPX routing to help calculate path cost. For example, a circuit over a satellite WAN link would show a much higher delay value than a circuit over a local Ethernet segment.
