Description: Total number of octects in untagged packets processed by the interface.
What is clvIfVlanUntaggedTotOctets?
This read-only counter reports the combined total octets of untagged traffic processed in both directions on a Clavister interface, summarizing the in and out untagged octet counters into one figure. It gives an admin a single byte-volume metric for all untagged traffic through that port. For example, an admin tracking clvIfVlanUntaggedTotOctets over time can see whether untagged traffic on a supposedly VLAN-only trunk is growing, warranting a configuration review.
