Description: Total ALG connections

What is clvAlgConnections?

This read-only gauge reports the total number of connections currently being managed under ALG processing, which may be a finer-grained count than clvAlgSessions since a single ALG session, like an FTP control channel, can spawn multiple data connections. It gives an admin insight into the connection-level load ALG handling is placing on the firewall. For example, an FTP ALG session opening several passive-mode data connections would show up as a higher clvAlgConnections count relative to clvAlgSessions.
