rlLan1ModulePortMulticastBroadcastAllowedVlan

Module: CISCOSBLAN1-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSBLAN1-MIB::rlLan1ModulePortMulticastBroadcastAllowedVlan

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.224.7.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies that multicast/broadcast traffic is allowed on the CP VLAN or on non-CP VLAN. If the parameter is not configured then only unicast traffic is allowed.

What is rlLan1ModulePortMulticastBroadcastAllowedVlan?

This read-write INTEGER (none(1), cp(2), noncp(3)) specifies whether multicast/broadcast traffic is allowed on the CP VLAN, the non-CP VLAN, or neither for a module port, with unicast-only being the behavior if left unconfigured. An admin sets this to control flooding scope on a per-port basis, limiting broadcast storms to only the intended VLAN context. For example, setting this to noncp(3) on a port allows multicast/broadcast only within the non-CP VLAN while blocking it on the CP VLAN for that port.
