Module: CISCOSB-vlanVoice-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCOSB-vlanVoice-MIB::vlanVoiceOUIBasedSetToDefault

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.48.54.12.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: The vlanVoiceOUIBasedSetToDefault indicates that vlanVoiceOUIBasedTable should be set to it's default values if existed (OUI default prefixes).

To do so the vlanVoiceOUIBasedTable should be previously deleted by usual entries destroying.

This object behaviors as write-only than reading this object will always return 'false'.

What is vlanVoiceOUIBasedSetToDefault?

This read-write TruthValue, when set true, resets the OUI-based voice VLAN table to its default vendor OUI prefixes, but only after the existing table entries have been deleted through the normal row-destroy process. An admin uses this to restore the factory list of known VoIP vendor MAC prefixes after having customized or cleared the table. For example, after accidentally deleting all OUI entries, an admin destroys the empty rows and then sets this object true to repopulate the default vendor prefixes like Cisco's and Avaya's.
