What is rlInetFftSubNextHopInetAddr8?
This read-only InetAddress is the eighth NextHop IP address in an ECMP path set for an NFFT (fast-forwarding) table entry, i.e. one of up to eight equal-cost routers traffic can be spread across. Knowing this value lets an admin verify that every leg of a multi-path route actually resolves to a live, intended gateway rather than a phantom or duplicate address. For example, after adding an eighth equal-cost link to a destination network, an admin would read this OID to confirm the new path's gateway address was programmed correctly into hardware.
