An administrator checks this on the most heavily load-balanced subnets provisioned with seven equal-cost paths, to confirm that seventh path's egress interface is populated as expected. For example, seeing rlInetFftSubNextHopIfindex7 populated confirms the switch has scaled that subnet's traffic across the maximum of seven parallel ECMP uplinks.
